I would just like to say thank you for making me a stronger person - MN
I visited Indu looking for support and guidance on dealing with a confused 10 year old boy. Indu helped me to see the different sides of child psychology and gave me some really helpful and insightful ideas on ways to work with my son to understand what he was thinking.
Indu was very friendly and professional and created a calming atmosphere which made me feel at ease and welcome into her practice.
I hope we are over this episode, but I would certainly go back to Indu if I needed any advice and guidance in the future.
I am more than happy to provide this testimonial. I found my sessions with Indu to be extremely valuable and definitely felt that I learnt and gained a great deal in a relatively short space of time.
Indu was very insightful, and provided an excellent balance of reflection and analysis, and of practical suggestions to help improve our family situation. She was able to challenge some of my thinking in a way that was reflective, positive and supportive. This is helping me to change my own responses to difficult behaviours at home, and as a result to better support and guide my children.
I now have a number of strategies to use within our family environment – and probably other situations – that I didn’t have before. Together with a better way of reminding myself what does work, why, and how to stay with the effective techniques. Using affirmations and self-regulation techniques, I am finding it easier to remain focused on the most important changes to make, instead of getting overwhelmed by all our challenges, and am able to think more about the future, even if short term for now! Thank you, Indu.

I would like to say that the consultations that we had regarding JH and HD were a helpful exercise. Having discussed the issues with you, it helped to identify and tease out the issues so that we focused on what areas could be further supported. The discussions were also helpful as having explained the case in detail you were able to say how this support would enable the parents to address their difficulties.
When working with families we are often so involved and there is so much going on that it can be an abundance of information. The consultations were therefore helpful to explore pertinent and relevant issues.
I found the consultations very helpful. They gave me the opportunity to talk about different families and helped me to understand possible reasons behind their behaviours and their current situations. Your consultations also helped me to plan my direct work and to feel more confident about the support I can offer to the families referred to me.
Yes, I would feel able to recommend Indu particularly for Asian women where a space like this is lacking. I found it particularly helpful to talk about myself and my concerns - which was difficult at first - in a neutral and non-judgmental space. Being challenged in ways of thinking and feeling, and a reminder that I am not alone, was also particularly helpful.
My overall feeling about counselling with Indu is that I feel solid. From the very beginning counselling has helped me to overcome depression and anxiety. I’ll leave this room knowing how to handle both and feeling very happy with who I am.
I found it hugely supportive, non-judgmental. I felt safe to discuss all of my client work and concerns. I learnt an awful lot from Indu’s insight, and it felt very collaborative.
Being asked to do what I perceived as being ‘artistic’ pieces of work at home…, which led to me tapping into my creativity, was particularly helpful / useful.
The therapeutic space and that boundary to discuss things that I would not in any other space was particularly helpful. The adaptation of the therapy to suit me, for example incorporating art into the mix, was really useful and helpful.
